Well, FOX has done it again...cancelled another science-fiction show, and this time it is TERRA NOVA. It is official, the multi-million-dollar-per-episode time travel epic is gone from the digital airwaves...but is it? Reports say that Terra Nova's production company is shopping around the show to other networks. This a good opportunity for the SyFy Channel, especially if they could make the show work or retool it. On a personal note, I don't know if I'll miss Terra Nova, it was a terribly uneven show that had promise, but not the ability to fulfill it. It is still sad though, not a lot of sci-fi left these days. Hopefully, FOX is not looking at Fringe for cancellation.
I just hope "Blood and Chrome", the Galactica spin-off, will break the trend of killing SciFi series before they get a fair chance.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree! I've been very much looking forward to new BSG for some time now. The SyFy Channel better have the balls to make this one or else they will doomed.
