Today, we got a look at the trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and it is a near-future MSF shooter! That was not what I was expecting...but I am down for the COD series taking their turn at near future warfare, like Crysis and Ghost Recon.
The plot follows that the advanced US computer network that controls the future warmachines, like UGVs and UAVs are hacked in 2025, bring the machines against their masters. This reminds me of the MW2 when the Russian gets the keys to the US air defense network, allowign for the invasion.
However, that is only 2/3 of the total game, the first 1/3 is set in the 1980's. We expect more craziness, like the pervious title, connecting the events together....and Zombies! the game drops on November 13th, 2012.
