Thanks for the support! The Dragoon suits are CLASS-II, according to my own sizing system. I wanted something close to the AMP suits from AVATAR. However, Jorja and her boys could kick the RDA's AMP suits metal ass! BTW: Derek Restivo did the cover art. Did a bang up job! I want him to illustrate the next cover for TATS & SCARS, my next book.
I cannot express in words how grateful (and relieved) I am that you like the book. Thank you for your support and kind words. I hope you enjoyed your time with Jorja Leeds and the members of ODA-229.
I want to buy the book but I don't have a Kindle. (Never saw the need for one) is there a chance in the future itl be a hard copy? Or is there a way to buy it and download it to a Surface pro? Ive never bought a book that I cant hold in my own hands so this is kinda new to me :/
Do you have an Android Smartphone? There is a App to read mobi files. Don't know if Calibre can convert mobis into epubs - but while they don't want to support DRMs i can't say for sure. As an alternative there is the Amazon Cloud reader (didn't have tested it yet)
I just got an email for my publisher...could be like one to two weeks for a physical copy. Will be posting when those are available. I am like you, I like the feel of a "real" book.
I'm almost finished with reading. I like your style and the best part something i didn't have read in the last Military SicFi books in the past the problem of PTDS and what makes war out of human minds. I have to say i was pissed off when i read some of the critics on Amazon. OK there are typos and sometimes missing words - but hey are they not able to complete a sentence that is something you learn in the first year in school shortly after you are able to read. I was able to do so - and I'm not a native English speaker (or writer) and i don't have a problem.
Ok on last thing - Phazergehehr? Mean Panzergeher although im sure that there would be still some prussian heirs in the German Military 500 years in the future so the would have another ankward name.
Cover looks dope, however the size of the mech is a little smaller than expected. Still good though.
ReplyDeleteJust brought it on Amazon - don't think I'll be getting much work done today.

ReplyDeleteJust finished reading Endangered Species. Great book, the best military science fiction that I've read in a long time.
