Doc had the regular paper morning news of October 22th describing Marti Junior's arrest after drafted by Griff to do the failed robbery. After the thugs crashed into city hall doc checked the tomorrow's news and it changed before their eyes because they alter the future – Griff & Co. caught by police so the failed robbery never take place and Marti Junior never got arrested.
Similar are Marti's family photo in BTTF1 and Doc's tombstone & Marti's pink slip note in BTTF3 – those photos & note change to reflect the changing of the future as a result of the protagonists' acts.

Yoel
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726484495782035142.post-65438684249843711262015-10-21T12:53:18.620-05:002015-10-21T12:53:18.620-05:00I enjoyed the movie in 1989 but was never under th...I enjoyed the movie in 1989 but was never under the impression that in 2015 we would have flying cars and hover boards. Loved the Nikes and was bummed that they were unavailable.

Something that it actually got right was the instant news and communications thing. When the thugs hit the city hall, a newspaper was printed immediately, foreshadowing the current trend. Same when McFly's boss called him and sent him a pink slip via fax.

Also it got right the stupid trend by Hollywood to create movies franchises and milk them to oblivion. No, we didn't get Jaws 19, thank God that one imploded on #4, and by then the corpse was beyond putrefaction. But there are plenty others that are just trying to reach that number. And I hope that you do realize that the first movie to come out with the Joke was Airplane! and its Rocky XXXVIII poster.Zeus67https://www.blogger.com/profile/11419589984029160856noreply@blogger.com
